Poster presentations are an essential part of large national and international scientific conferences. They usually take place in the classic way as an actual presentation of printed “posters”. In this way, experts and young scientists have the opportunity to present the initial results of their work to a broader specialist audience.

However, the common poster presentations are quite inefficient, for example in terms of the layout, the depth of information, the possibility of distribution and the environment of the presentations, and are no longer up to date in the digital age.

But a breath of fresh air is here! Because the concept of the Digital Poster Presentation – DPP for short – turns dusty and boring into contemporary and user-friendly. How quickly, easily and linked information can be consumed through the DPP was demonstrated at the DGZI's 1st Future Congress for Dental Implantology, which recently took place in Düsseldorf.

The digital poster presentation was open throughout the entire congress period. The posters could not only be viewed digitally before and during the congress, but can now also be accessed afterwards.
